Here's a list of
events happening. We will be holding various live
bridging activities throughout 2008 and beyond to bridge students
from within the US & abroad. We welcome advertisers and sponsors
to help support our bridging events.
- May
2008: the 1st Annual NexusBridge DOMINO DERBY! Fremont
Unified School District, Fremont, CA, will be holding the first
annual NexusBridge Domino Derby for all 5 high schools
in the district. Students will build, topple and video tape
their domino designs surrounding
the theme of GRADUATION. The videos will be uploaded
to the NexusBridge Community site AND all Community Members
can rate the videos. Winners will receive recognition from
the district and NexusBridge! Be sure to register so you can
vote!

This media covered event was an attempt at a record breaking
domino chain reaction and was reported by national and local
newspapers. Students in different locations around the world sequentially
toppled dominos to create the world's largest domino
toppling chain. It started in Fremont, California, USA
and propagated through various locations in Silicon Valley, and on
to Hong Kong and ended Beijing, China to usher in the 2008 Olympics
and Chinese New Year. See our domino
