"Mission San Jose High School students form a human Olympic right on the Fremont campus Friday. Organized by leadership students, Link Crew members, peer counselors and the yearbook and journalism staffs, the event promoted campus unity and served as a way to connect with students from China who had staged a similar event in anticipation of the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing. Staff (right) from the school's newspaper, the Smoke Signal, were part of the Olympic ring." --quoted from the above Argus Newspaper, 11/17/2007. Photo was taken by Anda Chu, staff photographer.
